Ben is an experienced archaeologist with specialist GIS and spatial analysis skills.

He is proficient in Aboriginal lithic analysis. Ben has an abiding interest in GIS as a research and explanatory tool and brings this skill to our Aboriginal heritage projects in Australia. His experience in Aboriginal heritage includes excavation and survey in Western NSW, Western Sydney, Central/Southern Tablelands and Canberra, amongst others.

His historic heritage experience has involved excavation and survey on a classical age site in Italy and European settler site in Australia. Through his experience with large archaeological projects, Ben has developed strong organisational and logistical skills and applies this to effectively managing heritage projects at NOHC.

Working in Australian heritage has given me a deeper understanding of the rich history and culture of this country. I enjoy the challenge of successfully running complex investigations in my work at NOHC
We acknowledge Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their many diverse communities across our nation and their rich culture. We pay respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s first peoples and as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land and water across the Australian landscape and seascape. We recognise and value the ongoing contribution of Aboriginal people to Australian life and how their contribution continues to enrich our society.
