Nicola leads our heritage field teams, overseeing the design and implementation of complex and multidisciplinary projects across the company.

Nicola has been involved in and/or project managed over 500 projects working with NSW and ACT Heritage legislation in both Indigenous and historical heritage matters. She also has experience in Indigenous consultation and has worked closely with numerous local ACT and NSW Aboriginal organisations and representatives.

At NOHC Nicola specialises in project management and field logistics within NOHC and works closely with clients on a day-to-day basis and in this way, she has developed a keen understanding of our clients’ needs and is able to efficiently direct NOHC resources to meet those needs.  She leads many NOHC excavation programs and has a demonstrated track record in managing cross-specialist teams on complex heritage projects.

She and has successfully taken many projects to their finale including developing and running 'Back to Country’ programs for the return of Aboriginal objects back into the landscape. She has a reputation for completing projects on time and to budget and brief.

I really appreciate the contribution we get to make to protecting and celebrating our heritage. It is a real privilege to work in this field and to be able to share that with my colleagues at NOHC is amazing.
We acknowledge Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their many diverse communities across our nation and their rich culture. We pay respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s first peoples and as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land and water across the Australian landscape and seascape. We recognise and value the ongoing contribution of Aboriginal people to Australian life and how their contribution continues to enrich our society.
