The project, commissioned by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service of New South Wales, involved reporting on the significance, conservation and management of twenty Aboriginal rock art sites or site complexes within the NPWS NSW South East region. The project included the participation of Local Aboriginal Land Councils and a range of land tenures including private, State Forests and National Parks. A two volume report included site recordings, a review of history and contexts, and detailed recommendations for future site management
