First Nations clients

Increasingly First Nations property owners are commissioning projects that respect, conserve and promote their heritage

Aboriginal and Torres Strait traditional custodians and property owners have a deep commitment to respecting heritage and preserving stories of their connection to Country and ancestors.

We love working with communities to contribute our technical skills in research, archaeology and heritage interpretation to their projects. For our team these are 'projects of the heart' that allow us to learn from traditional owners, while at the same time sharing what we do best. Through our specialist partners we can build the optimal multidisciplinary team to deliver exciting, tailored project outcomes.

Many Indigenous communities in Australia are finally getting formal ownership and control of some of their lands and taking control of development and tourism projects as they build a future for their people.  We have undertaken a number of heritage assessment project for Aboriginal owned development projects.

We acknowledge Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their many diverse communities across our nation and their rich culture. We pay respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s first peoples and as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land and water across the Australian landscape and seascape. We recognise and value the ongoing contribution of Aboriginal people to Australian life and how their contribution continues to enrich our society.
