Essential to all life – water is a precious commodity. Delivering safe and sustainable water supply to our community requires a range of greenfield, projects as well as constant maintenance and upgrades.
NOHC works directly with water authorities such as Water NSW as well as their major contractors to deliver a range of heritage services. These include Aboriginal and historical heritage assessments of greenfield sites and installation of upgrade work in buffer zones as well as assessment of impact on historically listed infrastructure. We have a substantial suite of successfully delivered water related cultural heritage assessments. Including the expansion of Cotter Dam in the ACT, and Aboriginal and historic heritage assessments on historic dams and weirs throughout NSW.
